Yes, I've been in Australia for 8 months (where does time go anyway) and I even had to leave the country while on a Tourist Visa, but now I'm here officially and, well, feel like my Australian adventure is just beginning. So, to share this experience with you, I created "AussieWendell," nothing high tech, just a site to say "G'Day," share some photos and an occasional social commentary (don't hold my opinions against me).
I arrived in Sydney on a Wednesday, and on Saturday, I got my apartment...yes, I move fast, literally! Here's a picture of my back patio from the kitchen & out back...the scaffolding is gone now in the back...thank God they finished construction on the house next door! 7:00 AM on a Saturday...much to early to be using a jack-hammer!
